Two people were shot to death Monday night in Nogales, Sonora, according to police reports.
The man, who has not been identified, was found by police officers on the driver’s side of a green station wagon with several gunshot wounds on his left side.
Maria Luisa Tizoc Moge, 44, who was found in front of the vehicle, was taken to the General Hospital, where she later died of her wounds.
Police found four plastic packages with a white powder thought to be cocaine hidden in her underwear, according to the release.
The investigation is ongoing.
