A man died after his motorcycle and a car collided Wednesday night on the Tucson area's northwest side, authorities said.
The crash occurred on North La Cholla Boulevard, just south of the intersection of West Ina Road and La Cholla, shortly after 7 p.m., the Northwest Fire District said in a news release.
Northwest Fire paramedics arrived within three minutes to find a man in his 50s with life-threatening injuries. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, said Northwest Fire spokesman Capt. Adam Goldberg.
He was taken to the University of Arizona Medical Center's trauma unit, where he died of his injuries, Goldberg said in the news release. His name has not been released.
