Federal agents found 2,100 pounds of marijuana in an abandoned vehicle on the northern part of the Tohono O’odham Nation Monday.

Border Patrol agents spotted a suspicious vehicle going north and called for help from a Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine helicopter crew, according to a Border Patrol news release. The crew eventually spotted the vehicle and agents on the ground went to the spot.

They found the vehicle abandoned with 104 bundles of marijuana weighing a total of 2,100 pounds inside.
