Just over 7 pounds of cocaine was found hidden in the cushion of a wheelchair of a man crossing the border into Arizona this weekend, officials said.

The 43-year-old Mexican man was crossing at the Dennis DeConcini Port when a Customs and Border Protection officer noticed a “peculiarity” in seat cushion, the agency said in a news release.

During a follow-up inspection officers found packages of cocaine stuffed into the seat cushion. The drug was valued at about $65,000, the news release says.

The unidentified man was turned over to investigators from Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security.
