About 3,800 customers are without power this evening because of thunderstorms that have hit the Tucson area.
The outages are widespread throughout the city, with about 1,600 customers without power on the east side, according to Tucson Electric Power.
The storms have brought numerous lightning strikes and rain, especially on the east side, according to the National Weather Service.
