A man who tried to rob a north side bank last week has been arrested, Tucson police said.

Jeffrey Boggs, 28, was arrested at his home Monday and booked into the Pima County jail for attempted armed robbery, Sgt. Chris Widmer, spokesman for the Tucson Police Department, said in a press release.

Boggs is suspected of trying to rob the Wells Fargo Bank, 1260 W. Prince Road at North Flowing Wells Road, on the morning of Feb. 20.

When the teller, who was protected by a bullet-proof window, announced that the bank was being robbed, the suspect fled, Widmer said.
