Tucson police have arrested a woman suspected in the Monday robbery of a midtown bank.

Kera Lynn Thornsberry, 24, was arrested at a midtown motel Monday night after investigators released surveillance photos of a woman who robbed a Wells Fargo Bank at 5310 East Grant Road at North Beverly Avenue, earlier in the day.

Thornsberry was booked into the Pima County jail and faces one count of felony robbery in connection with the bank incident.

“In addition, it was discovered that the vehicle she had been driving as she left the bank robbery scene was a stolen vehicle. As such, she was additionally charged with one count of theft of means of transportation, a felony offense,” Sgt. Maria Hawke, spokeswoman for the Tucson Police Department, said in a news release.

The vehicle was found Tuesday afternoon.

“For investigative reasons, a booking photograph is not yet available for release,” Hawke said.
