A Tucson woman sought for highway robbery has been arrested.
Cynthia Morgan, 44, was arrested Thursday, two days after police released a surveillance photo of her using a stolen credit card at a gas station. Someone recognized Morgan from the photo and called in an anonymous tip to 88-CRIME, providing police with her identity, Sgt. Chris Widmer, spokesman for the Tucson Police Department, said in a news release.
Morgan was picked up on the south side and booked into the Pima County jail. she is facing one count each of forgery and fraudulent use of a credit card.
The original highway robbery investigation is ongoing, Widmer said.
