A 41-year-old man who was shot at a south side home just after midnight, has died, Tucson police said.
The man was shot at a home in the 2000 block of South Campbell Avenue south of East Silverlake Road, after a confrontation with a house guest, Sgt. Chris Widmer, spokesman for the Tucson Police Department, said. The victim died at a local hospital several hours later.
Between five and 10 people were at the home when the shooting occurred. Before police arrived on scene, “some of the witnesses left, some of the witnesses stayed,” Widmer said.
The investigation is ongoing and detectives have not yet identified a suspect, he said.
