A break in a gas line on the northwest side has traffic backed up.

The break in the 2-inch line was caused by a contractor grading in the area, Capt. Adam Goldberg, spokesman for the Northwest Fire District.

There is a significant traffic back up in all directions approaching North La Canada Drive and West Orange Grove Road.

The story continues to develop. Check back for updates.
