SaddleBrooke has a Veterans Day-themed tribute for troops called DesertFest planned for November.

DesertFest, which will also serve as a canned food drive takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 10 at SaddleBrooke Ranch, at milepost 93 on Highway 77. Guests are asked to bring five cans to the event. The Tucson Troop Support Group will collect the food and distribute it to veterans in need.

At the canned food drive, guests are encouraged to bring 5 cans to the Tucson Troop Support Group booth whose mission is to provide food to needy troops and veterans.

The Desert Cadillacs and Redhouse Dancers will provide entertainment. There will also be tastings of wine and micro beers, as well as cooking demos. Food trucks, barbecue and drinks will be on sale.
