Oro Valley is taking applications to fill three vacancies on its Historic Preservation Committee.

To serve on the committee, you must be a resident of the town, be able to attend meetings and complete the town's Community Academy.

The group, which promotes the education, culture and the economy in Oro Valley by preserving historic structures, documents and photos, meets the first Monday of each month at 5 p.m. at Oro Valley Town Hall, 11000 N. La Cañada Drive.
