Magazine names Oro Valley the best place to raise kids in the state

According to Bloomberg Businessweek, Oro Valley is the state's best place to raise kids. 

The publication evaluated 3,200 communities in the United States, evaluating them on schools, income, public safety, adults' education levels and employment.

“We’re very proud of this distinction,” said Mayor Satish Hiremath, in a news release. “Oro Valley is already known throughout the region for its outstanding public safety and for having some of the highest-performing schools in Southern Arizona. So it’s nice to see our community recognized at the national level as well.”
