Planet Fitness is holding a grand opening for its Oro Valley location Feb. 1.
The 14,000 square foot fitness center is located at Rooney Ranch Plaza, 10525 N Oracle Road. Festivities go from 4 to 7 p.m. and include a DJ, pizza and giveaways from local businesses, as well as a raffle for a TV.
The gym bills itself as a workout facility for people who don't like typical gyms.
Planet Fitness has more than 100 cardio machines, as well as areas focused on resistance, stretching and specialties, as well as a 30-minute interval training circuit.
