An impressive cloud formation moved into Tucson from Cochise County around 7 p.m. last night, and was shortly followed by a storm that left impressive rain totals.

Looking at rain gauge data from the Pima County Regional Flood Control District, an area along Catalina Highway on Mount Lemmon received the most rain last night — 2.64". In Tucson, the highest rain total was at Arroyo Chico and Cherry Street — 0.94".

Tucson International Airport, the city's official recording site, picked up 0.22". Since Jan. 1, 5.56" have been recorded at the airport — down 1.50" from normal.

Several sites around the Tucson metro area failed to record a trace of rain, including the Pima County Fairgrounds.

Davis-Monthan Air Force Base: 0.42"

Nogales International Airport: 0.02"
