Tucson International Airport, the city's official recording site, reported 0.56" of rain Friday night. That's 4.07" total for July and 5.09" so far in 2012. Normally, Tucson sees 4.51" at this point.

According to Pima County Regional Flood Control District, the airport recorded the highest Tucson-area rain total yesterday. Other gauges on Continental Road south of Sahuarita and west of Interstate 10 on Ina Road didn't detect any precipitation Friday.
