An updated paperback version of Mark Kelly and Gabrielle Giffords' book Gabby: A Story of Courage, Love and Resilience was released today.

The book includes a chapter about this year's anniversary of the Jan. 8, 2011 Tucson shooting that killed six people and injured 13 others, including Giffords, who was shot through the head.

Giffords and Kelly visited the Safeway where the shooting occurred on the one year anniversary of the tragedy. At the time, Kelly told the Star that Giffords was able to recall where she parked, and that it was so cold she needed mittens.

The hardcover version "Gabby: A Story of Courage, Love and Resilience" was written by Giffords, Kelly and Wall Street Journalist Jeffrey Zaslow. For the paperback version, Giffords and Kelly had to go it alone, as Zaslow died this year in an automobile accident.

Today's book release coincides with the release of a children's book that Kelly wrote, called, "Mousetronaut." The book is based on an actual mouse that rode along on Kelly's first space shuttle mission.
