The University of Arizona College of Medicine — Tucson and Ventana Medical Systems Inc. will hold a free information session about prostate cancer at 6 p.m tomorrow - Tuesday, Nov. 13.
The two-hour event will be held at Ventana Medical Systems Inc., 1910 Innovation Park Drive in Oro Valley . The event is free but space is limited. To RSVP call 520-229-3965.
UA prostate cancer experts Dr. Mitch Sokoloff , and Dr. Ray Nagle , who is also a medical director at Ventana Medical Systems, Inc. will cover the latest research on the biology, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer. Both physicians are members of the UA Cancer Center.
The event will feature live entertainment, refreshments and a silent auction of items donated by local artists and businesses. All proceeds from the silent auction will benefit Movember , an international men’s health initiative supporting prostate and testicular cancer education, prevention and research.
