Sidney Merians
Sidney Merians, former owner and CEO of Talon, Inc., the world's oldest manufacturer of zippers, died Wednesday, March 6, at the age of 86. Mr. Merians, who enjoyed a life of many ups and downs, will be remembered for a positive outlook, summed up by his credo, "Keep an open mind and a closed fly". The memorial service will feature an unzipped casket and a musical tribute by the Fly Girls.
