Thousands of potholes explained

The entire membership of the Tucson City Council confessed to digging for buried treasure in the streets of Tucson leaving thousands of holes in city streets. Only 27% of what you see are potholes caused by erosion or disrepair. Said councilwoman Karen Uhlich,”We’re broke and in debt up to our eyeballs. Councilman Fimbres brought a treasure map identifying the location of a chest of gold to our last work meeting and when we saw it we thought it would be a good answer to our fiscal mess. We’ve been meeting in a different location every night and digging until dawn. Looks just like potholes don’t they? Koz thinks the map looks to be pretty inaccurate. Cunningham brought the shovels.”
