Pothole swallows motor home owned by Florida man.
A huge pothole about 30 feet across swallowed a man’s recreational vehicle Thursday night as he was headed east on Speedway. Tucson Fire Department personnel jumped into the hole to try to help, but couldn’t see him.
The only thing sticking out of the hole was a bumper. The vehicle was nowhere to be seen. Officials lowered equipment into the pothole but didn’t see any sign of life. The area was cordoned off and declared an Irony-free zone.
