Any resolutions in the case against a group of Sahuarita High School students accused of assaulting two fellow students was delayed until at least September.

Attorneys for Blake Koller, Jorge Enrique Loya-Lopez, Andres Vasquez and Marcus Aurelius Stitts, who are accused of assaulting the other students in the locker of the school in January, asked that further case events be rescheduled for Sept. 9.

Stitts’ attorney has sought to have the charges dismissed while Vasquez’s attorney would seek a change of plea.

The students were charged with aggravated assault on an incapacitated person and aggravated assault on a minor, for the alleged assault on the fellow students. They also were charged with indecent exposure to minor.

Lat month the Pima County Attorney’s Office decided to drop the charges against another student accused in the incident. The student was not identified because he is a minor.

Two other minors charged in the incident have pending hearings in Pima County Juvenile Court later this month and in August.
