Pima County Natural Resources hosts a ton of free things to do. Most of them are outdoors. So, you get moving, and you learn something along the way.

One event, Desert Foods Walk and Tastings, is tomorrow at 9 a.m. at Feliz Paseos Park, 1600 N. Camino de Oeste.

Participants will take an easy stroll through the desert to learn about a variety of food plants. After the walk, samples of locally prepared native food products will be available for tasting.

You also go home with desert food recipes to try on your own.

Visit Pima County Natural Resources' website for a full schedule of events: www.pima.gov/nrpr.
