For the month of January, Pima Animal Care Center has reduced adoption fees to $13.
The benefits of having a pet far outweigh adoption fees. Pets provide companionship and encourage physical activity, and according to the CDC, they can can decrease blood pressure, triglyceride levels and cholesterol levels.
The adoption center is located at 4000 N. Silverbell Road.
Hours are noon to 7 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
