The Humane Society of Southern Arizona and PetSmart Charities have teamed up for the Home At Last event this weekend.
The event offers free cats or kittens at the following locations:
· Companions for Life Center 3465 E. Kleindale Rd. (2 blocks north of Ft. Lowell, between Country Club and Dodge, right around the corner from the main HSSA shelter)
· PAWSH adoption centers at Park Place and La Encantada
· PetSmart at 3850 W. River Rd. (River & Orange Grove)
Every kitty comes with a Home at Last starter pack with litter box, scoop, litter and toy.
A wine glass with a kitten charm will be given to the first 60 adopters. There will also be kids crafts, games and glitter tattoos.
Other festivities include a food truck roundup today from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Companions for Life Center and free mini-donuts from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
