The Tucson-filmed episode of the ABC show "What Would You Do?" will air this Friday night at 7 p.m. Tucson time.
Host John Quiñones and the show's crew were in Tucson on Nov. 11-12 at BK Carne Asada and Hot Dogs, 2680 N. First Ave., to film an episode focusing on the emotions and confusion surrounding Arizona's controversial new immigration law, SB 1070. During the two days, the crew re-enacted two scenes over and over again: a man dressed as a "security guard" questioning either two Latino men eating together or a Latino couple and their 7-year-old daughter about their legal status in the United States.

Here is how the ABC show describes the Tucson scenario in a press release announcing the four scenarios that will be featured in this Friday's episode:
"Arizona Immigration Law: "What will bystanders do when they observe people being racially profiled right in front of them? “WWYD” travels to Arizona, which has recently enacted a controversial illegal immigration law that would permit law enforcement to seek identification from people suspected of being illegal aliens, even though they have committed no crime. Will anyone speak up when they observe an off-duty security guard confront a Latino family at a restaurant and demand their identification for no apparent reason except their appearance? In a twist, John Quinones himself steps into the role of the one being questioned."
