Mountain View Officer's Club

Lee Easter, far right, is the president of the Greater Southern Arizona Chapter of the Ninth and Tenth Horse Cavalry Association of Buffalo Soldiers. Easter came dressed in a uniform which was worn by Buffalo Soldiers during the Indian War to a press conference to show support that The National Trust for Historic Preservation has named the Mountain View Colored Officers' Club as one of 11 of America's most endangered historic places. The building is located in Fort Huachuca, Sierra Vista. Local organizations want to preserve the building but the U.S. Army wants to tear it down.
