I-19 rollover leaves one dead, one hurt

A passenger in a rollover crash on Interstate 19 was killed Monday morning.

The driver of the 2004 Ford station wagon was northbound on I-19 near Duval Mine Road at about 9:45 a.m. and lost control of the car. The car rolled as it went into the median, Officer David Hopkins, an Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman, said in a news release.

Ellen Harmon, 51, the passenger, was thrown from the vehicle and later died at University of Arizona Medical Center, the release states. The driver was also taken to UAMC.
