A passenger in a single rollover crash on Interstate 19 was killed Monday morning.

The driver of a 2004 Ford station wagon traveling north on I-19 near Duval Mine Road, lost control of the car and went into the median causing the car to roll over, Officer David Hopkins, an Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman said in a news release.

Ellen Harmon, 51, was a passenger in the car and was thrown from the vehicle, the release said. She was taken to University of Arizona Medical Center where she later died.
