For fans of Van Halen, news today that the band is calling off the bulk of its summer reunion tour was inevitable.

But Arizona fans get a reprieve; the band with lead singer David Lee Roth at the mic, will honor their June 16 date at US Airways Center in Phoenix. They will share the stage with Kool and the Gang.

The band announced earlier today that it was calling off 31 dates but would continue the tour through June 26. No explanation for the cancellations was given, but Rolling Stone magazine is reporting that the band members "hate each other" and have been fighting since the tour started.

The band on its website said it was postponing the dates, although no reason or rescheduled dates were announced. The band has 13 more shows including Phoenix.
