When it comes to ways to spend those long, hot summer days, there's no better place to be than Tucson - if you're a kid.

There are hundreds of active, creative and just plain fun programs put on throughout the Old Pueblo.

We are already gathering the list of offerings from local organizations for our annual roundup of activities. We'll publish the handy tabloid-sized guide on March 17.

To make it as comprehensive as possible, we ask organizations offering programs to submit information at programs.azstarnet.com at no charge.

Information will be accepted only online and must include dates, cost, where the program will be held, what it entails and for what age range.

Even if your activities have been listed in the past, you'll need to enter current information. Please have details of your programs finalized and available before beginning the submission process.

The deadline is 8 p.m. Feb. 25.

If you have questions, call Inger Sandal at 573-4131 weekday afternoons.
