WEAVER, Howard Joseph, 87, of Tucson, died February, 18, 2013 of complications associated with Alzheimer's disease. Howard was born May 31, 1925, in McKean, PA. He served in the Navy during World War II, graduating from the Naval Aviator School. After the war he married his wife, Loretta and relocated to Tucson, AZ in 1956. He received his Masters Degree from the University of Arizona and in 1956 began working as a teacher in the Flowing Wells School District in Tucson. He eventually rose to the position of School Principal, serving in that capacity at both Flowing Wells and Richardson Elementary Schools. He retired in 1985 and pursued his lifelong hobbies of hunting, fishing and golf. Howard is survived by his son, William; daughter, Catherine and grandchildren, Amy Wallander, Susan Orozco, Samantha Kent and Jill Bright. He has three grandchildren, John, Annie and Justin Wallander. Private Funeral Services were held prior to this notice. Arrangements by DOUGLASS & ZOOK CHAPEL OF REMEMBRANCE.
