Steve Trujillo
His long and valiant battle with cancer ended on March 11, 2013. Steve devoted his life to improving awareness and services for people with behavioral health issues as well as people living with HIV/AIDS. Steve worked for El Rio Community Health Center where he was director of the Behavioral Health Services Clinic. Steve was born in Benson, Arizona on the 17th of May 1956. He is survived by his parents Robert and Bertha; siblings, Bobby (Tina), Paul (Olivia), Mario Solis, Patricia (Robert). Steve's life will be Celebrated Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the San Pedro Chapel, 5230 East Ft. Lowell Road, 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with a courtyard reception. A Funeral Mass will be held in Benson, Arizona Friday, March 22, 2013, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 386 E. 5th Street, Benson, Arizona Rosary at 9:30 a.m. Mass is at 10:00 a.m. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Tucson Interfaith HIV/AIDS Network, UofA Cancer Center.
