Pedro "Pete" Tamayo
82, passed away February 23, 2013. Preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Roseanna Tamayo; three brothers and three sisters. Survived by wife, Patricia Tamayo; daughter, Julianne Tamayo; sons, Kevin Peter Tamayo and Peter Gerard (Karen) Tamayo; sister, Susie Leyba; granddaughter, Colette and several nieces and nephews. Pete worked at Magma Copper Mine for 38 ½ years and was an Air Force veteran. He belonged to the Sacred Heart Society, coached little league baseball for many years and loved to go fishing and loved people. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 801 N. Grande Ave., with Rosary recited at 10:00 a.m. and Mass offered at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
