Nell Westfall
Long time Tucson resident Nell Westfall, 91, passed away February 23, 2013, after a brief illness. She was born May 26, 1921, in Spencer, West Virginia, daughter of George and Eunice Alvis. On February 20, 1940, she and Rex Westfall of Belgrove, West Virginia, were married. They lived in Spencer with their three children until May, 1959, when they moved to Tucson. Nell was predeceased by her parents, six brothers, and her husband. She is survived by daughter, Dolores (Dennis) DesLauriers, son, Duane (Kathleen) Westfall, daughter, Linda (Martin) Sanders, eight grandchilden and eleven great-grandchildren. Services will be private. We would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at Tucson Medical Center for the excellent care they gave our mother and the compassion they showed to us.
