HOOD, Karen Rae (Opper)

HOOD, Karen Rae (Opper), of Tucson, Arizona and La Crosse, Wisconsin found eternal peace on February 21, 2013. Born November 18, 1940, Oak Park, Illinois, she was the daughter of Clarine Dayton (Thompson), and step daughter of William Dayton. She is survived by two sisters and two brothers, spouse, Thomas Hood, daughter, Leigh Alys Schockmel, son-in-law, Shanon Schockmel, and grandchildren, Zander, Ethan and Maddie. Prepared in her faith to join her loving Father, she thanks those who supported her attempt to overcome cancer. A special thanks to Dr. TJ Gernon (UMC), NP Sandy Marques (UMC-CC), and Dr. Shannon Howe. Karen's life will be celebrated at her home in Tucson.
