Barbara Woods Story

66, died September 2, 2013, at her home. She was a long time resident of Tucson, a graduate of the University of Arizona, and taught high school English for many years. She then went on to become a privately funded ballet teacher/choreographer in the Tucson public school system, sharing her love of dance with children, and inspiring each one to shine. Her theatrical ballet productions were unforgettable highlights for hundreds of young dancers and for their delighted audiences. Barbara was a woman of intelligence, integrity, and charm, with great kindness of heart and generosity towards others. She was beloved by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Anna Benedict; granddaughter, Aubrie Gibson; sister, Nancy French; brother, Dr. Robert H. Woods and mother, Anna Woods. Arrangements by EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY.
