John Pedicone has served as vice president of the Southern Arizona Leadership Council for four years. He is also the Master's Degree Program coordinator, educational policy studies and practice in the College of Education at the University of Arizona.
Pedicone worked his way through the Flowing Wells School District, starting in 1982 as an assistant principal of Flowing Wells Junior High for one year before becoming principal of Flowing Wells High for four years. That was followed by an 11-year-stint as assistant superintendent of the district and six years as the superintendent.
He has taught at the University of Arizona, Northern Arizona, University of Phoenix and the University of Wisconsin.
Pedicone has a bachelor's degree in English, a master's in curriculum and instruction, and a doctorate in educational administration.
