The Tucson Charter Change Coalition is inviting the community to a Friday discussion about creating a more effective city government.

The forum will open with presenters, including speakers from Harvard University and Arizona State University, to talk about the pitfalls and benefits of charter change. Attendees may ask questions from the floor. Attendees will also be asked to fill out a survey on the proposed changes to see if the package should be changed before going to mayor and council.

The forum runs from 9 a.m. until noon at the Tucson Convention Center's Copper Ballroom.
