Government shutdown in 1995

Arizona Gov. Fife Symington, lead by Department of Public Safety security, leaves Grand Canyon airways building after meeting with park superintendent Robert Arnberger Friday, Nov. 17, 1995 in Tusuyan, Ariz. Symington was turned down by the Federal government in his bid to have the National guard operate the park but managed to visit the park before heading back to Phoenix.
