Tucson's Paragon Space Development Corp. announced plans to build a helium balloon and capsule that would float to the edge of space and then fall back to earth with the aid of a parachute. For $75,000, CEO Jane Poynter says people will be able to see "the curvature of the Earth". See renderings of the capsule and check out some others in the business of putting passengers in or near outer space.
