An all-ages Halloween carnival will be held today from 4 to 7 p.m. at William Clements Center, 8155 E. Poinciana Drive.

“Zombies in the Desert” will feature a haunted house, haunted train ride, haunted story hay ride, carnival games, face painting, a jumping castle, costume contests and more.

The event is sponsored by the city of Tucson Parks and Recreation Department, and Pima Community College.

Admission is $3 at the door, free for children younger than 1. The cost covers a wristband that allows admittance to all activities. All ages are welcome and children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Costume contests begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. Contest categories are for ages 2-4, ages 5-8 and ages 9-12, as well as teens, adults and families. Contestants must sign up at the registration table.
