One of the hottest new faces in R&B will perform at the Tucson Arena this weekend during R Dub's Sunday Nite Slow Jams Live concert.

Miguel comes to Tucson two weeks after singing his chart-topping track "Adorn" at the 2013 Grammy Awards with hip hop artist Wiz Khalifa.

The hit earned Miguel, 26, a Grammy for best R&B song.

"He brings a fresh face to the 'Slow Jams' scene and gets young people excited about new R&B," said R Dub, the DJ behind the Sunday Nite Slow Jams concert series and radio show.

R Dub, also known as Randy Williams, started Slow Jams on the radio in Tucson nearly two decades ago.

Today, the program, which plays modern and old school R&B, airs weekly on radio stations worldwide.

Miguel is one of several R&B stars past and present who will perform Sunday night.

We asked R Dub to wax poetic about the rest of the evening's lineup.

K-Ci & JoJo - "Timeless songs like 'All My Life' and a 'Tell Me It's Real' were debuted on Sunday Nite Slow Jams almost 20 years ago. Today they are essential 'first dance'songs at weddings and other special events."

Bell Biv DeVoe - "BBD was the very first concert I ever attended. I was 14 years old and snuck off to the concert without permission. I was punished severely, but it was worth it. Now, the fact that I am bringing these guys to my show is surreal, to say the least."

Ginuwine - "Women just go nuts for this man. He is a Sunday Nite Slow Jams Live favorite. Have your earplugs ready when the 'G'hits the stage."

Jagged Edge - "Jagged Edge was the quintessential Slow Jams group in the early 2000s and has released so many hits, from 'Let's Get Married,' to 'Promise,' to 'I Gotta Be.'"

Lloyd - "Lloyd continues to churn out Slow Jams hits, having just released 'All Of Me" earlier this year. He does a special version of Kendrick Lamar's 'Swimming Pools,' that is amazing."
