Chances are you did not snag a ticket to Wednesday’s 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy benefit concert at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

You’re in luck: Tucson area Cinemark theaters are joining their company counterparts around the country to simulcast the concert. Beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tucson time, you can see Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, The Who and Paul McCartney heading an all-star cast in a soldout performance. The concert is expected to run four hours.

Organizers say more than 2 billion people will see the simulcast worldwide. All proceeds will benefit victims of Sandy, which caused billions of dollars in damage mostly to New Jersey and New York.

Tickets are $6.50. Cinemark operates several Tucson area theaters: Century 20 El Con, 3601 E. Broadway; Century Gateway 12, 770 North Kolb Road; Century Park Place 20, 5870 E. Broadway; and Century Theatres at the Oro Valley Marketplace, 12155 N. Oracle Road.
