Leave it to social media-savvy Rialto Theatre to build excitement when it announces new shows.
Earlier this week, the theater at 318 E. Congress St. took to Facebook to tell fans about six of seven upcoming shows; the seventh will be announced Friday.

• Festival En El Barrio with Calexico, Rebirth Brass Band, Sergio Mendoza Y La Orkesta, and Heartless Bastards, March 24.
• Alternative rockers Soul Asylum, April 1.
• Los Angeles rockers Local Natives, April 15.
• San Francisco garage rockers Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, May 30.
Most tickets go on sale Friday.
