Tucson's new wine-centric tasting room Bear Track Bistro and Winery hosts happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m. Mondays with $2 off its $10 four-flight wine tasting.

Bear Track, 4743 E Sunrise Drive, pairs its wines with Mediterranean tapas-style platters. They start at $4.50 and plates can include everything from simple house-baked ciabatta bread with olive oil to gourmet cheeses, salamies, olives, olive oils and vinegars.

Owner and longtime sommelier Rick Riddle makes his house wines using New Mexico grapes. Riddle last year moved home to Tucson from New Mexico, where he owned a winery. He Bear Track in late December and his sister, Celia Riddle, who has worked for years in Tucson’s food and beverage industry, is the manager.

Also happening at Bear Track Bistro: Martini Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. every third Thursday, featuring six ounce-and-half martini samples for $15.

Bear Track is open from 3 to 9 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, noon to 10 p.m. Saturdays Details: Call 975-0050.
