Mexican rockers Café Tacvba swing into the Rialto Theatre April 17 for an 8 p.m. show.

Tickets go on sale Friday for $40 online or at the box office 318 E. Congress St.; 740-1000. It'll cost you $45 at the door, providing there are any tickets left.

Café Tacvba is a leading voice in Mexico City’s burgeoning rock en español movement, which they helped pioneer in the early 1990s. The genre has produced such notables as Los Rodríguez and Héroes del Silencio, bands that led the way in bridging the gap between American and Spanish rock.

Café Tacvba’s music morphed from its garage band playful and whimsical fusion of the early 1990s to a more mature and experimental music today.
