Florence’s Canyon Moon Ranch, home to the annual Country Thunder Festival every April, will host Liquid Sol, a Coachella-like multigenre music festival in September.

Harry Luge, the Queen Creek indie country artist whose family owns the property, said he can’t release any details because the festival organizers are still finalizing the lineup. But Liquid Sol will debut Sept. 19-21 on Canyon Moon Ranch’s sprawling festival grounds, which can accommodate camping for thousands.

Luge’s family operates a year-round entertainment facility at the ranch called Moonshine Willy’s. It includes rodeo arenas, a full-service restaurant, RV facilities and a 55,000-square-foot pavilion.

“It’s a destination location, but it’s a very unique place,” said Luge, whose band performs at weekend dinner shows at Moonshine Willy’s.

Luge is coming to Tucson to headline the fourth annual Cowgirls with Hearts Rodeo Dance at El Casino Ballroom on Friday. See an interview in Thursday's Caliente.
