Brace yourselves for a snowstorm so massive it will produce 30 tons of the white stuff.
Nope, we're not talking about Flagstaff or Mount Lemmon.
The snow will fall Saturday morning in the Foothills Mall east parking lot.
It's the mall's way of heralding the arrival of Santa Claus, the jolly listener of Christmas wishes.
The festivities begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Foothills Mall, 7401 N. La Cholla Blvd., at Ina Road. You can take pictures with Santa and give him your wishes beginning at 11 a.m. at his Holiday Playhouse in the Ross Courtyard.
Santa will be at the mall through Christmas Eve. Hours: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; until 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Dec. 24.
At 9 a.m. Nov. 24, the mall will host Cookies & Milk with Santa, which will include a puppet show presented by No Strings Attached. It's free for kids 12 and younger, and $2 for everyone else.
