Mike Tyson's one-man show "Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth" won't be coming to Tucson after all.

His Feb. 22 performance at Centennial Hall has been canceled due to scheduling conflicts.

The production was part of a larger national tour and was being presented by Broadway in Tucson's 2012-13 season.

"Mike has a lot of projects on his plate right now and is really running a mile a minute," said Broadway in Tucson spokesman Mario Di Vetta.

"Undisputed Truth" is the story of Tyson's life as told by Tyson. It was written by his wife Kiki Tyson and directed by Spike Lee.

The show had successful runs in Las Vegas and on Broadway in New York City.

In an interview with the Star last week, Tyson spoke about the challenges of being on stage.

"You have to be precise," he said. "There are no mistakes allowed. Everybody is watching. You have to feel that energy. If you don't feel it, you have to create some and that's tough."

His show at the Comercia Theatre in Phoenix on Feb. 23 is still a go. Tucson ticketholders can contact the Centennial Hall box office at 621-3341 for a full refund.
